Chatty Cathy, She was Made by Mattel, a 1960 Prototype, with Strawberry Blonde Hair, and Blue Eyes. Chatty Cathy made by Mattel was an amazing talking doll that made many little girl in the 1960s feel loved and for some these dolls were special make believe friends.

The doll and its accompanying accessories were advertised at less than $20. In 1961, the red Chatty Cathy dress was discontinued, replaced by a pink and white striped dress with a white pinafore called "Pink Peppermint Stick", which was available until 1964.
